The science of moving points is admirable; now, what are these points?


We move in our homes, in our offices, while we shop and travel, in our cities and around the world.

It would be great if we could find patterns and meanings and investigate that. Fortunately, we live in time, which allows us to collect information about ourselves through sensors or video, or applications.


So we can track our movements with incredible precision.


One of the places where we find the best data on movement is a sport, whether it's basketball, baseball, soccer. In stadiums, players' movements are tracked, every fraction of a second, and each player is converted into moving points.


There are things that, for example, basketball coaches want to know, and that they find difficult to identify because they would need to watch every second of every game. 


And that's where technology comes in!  However, the computer cannot watch the game as a coach does, so it is programmed with information such as passes, shots, and frequencies. Then we move on to things that are a little more complicated.


Now, we have reached a point where today, the computer understands complex events, things that professionals mainly know. 


So, little by little the computer is programmed with information as the trainer would see it. 


Fortunately, with automatic learning, we can surpass our abilities to describe the things we know. 


How does this work? 


We go to the computer and say in programming language, "Good morning machine, here are some pick and rolls and here are some things that are not; find a way to tell the difference".


Trainers believe in the ability of computers and software to identify these variables.


We move not only in sports, but also in everyday life: in our homes, in our offices, when we shop and travel around our cities and the world.
